The
Eastwind Martial Arts Academy of Merced, California is a family owned and
operated business, currently celebrating its 20th Anniversary in it’s
original location. Their mission is to serve the greater Central Valley with
quality martial arts instruction, featuring the art of Kemscrima-Doh. This art
form is a hybrid system developed by Sifu Glenn C. Abrescy, which blends Chinese
Kempo and Filipino Escrima to form “The Way of The Stick and Fist.”
Sifu
Glenn C. Abrescy recently celebrated 50 years in the Martial Arts in 2006, and
is a well respected individual throughout the Martial Arts Community. His
extensive background in multiple styles of martial arts have included
Kajukembo-Kempo, Shantung Kuntao, Filipino Escrima, and Okinawan Kobudo; all of
which serve as key components in the eclectic blend of Kemscrima-Doh.
