                                           2009-2010 CACFP Training

 Below is the proposed CACFP training for the federal fiscal year 2009-2010.

 1. CACFP Mandatory Training: 

Child Care Centers
Day Care Homes
Emergency Shelters

Note: Each agency will be required to complete this training. Failure to do so will result in your agency being declared “seriously deficient” in the administration of the CACFP. 

2. CACFP Mandatory Training for Adult Day Care Centers:

Note: Each agency will be required to complete this training. Failure to do so will result in your agency being declared “seriously deficient” in the administration of the CACFP. 

3. CACFP Elective Training:

These self-paced online courses are not mandatory.

4. Program Administration for Child Care Centers

This elective two-week guided (instructor-led) online course is recommended for staff who have administrative and financial responsibilities for the CACFP. Pre-registration and the purchase of an online study guide are required. Enrollment is limited to 20 individuals per session.

5. Promoting Integrity Now (PIN) Workshops – Management Course for Directors of Child Care Centers 

The PIN training is a three-day workshop offered statewide. The course is designed for directors of child care centers or staff who have administrative and financial responsibilities for the CACFP.

Pre-registration along with a course fee are required. Enrollment is limited to 25 individuals per workshop.
